Golden Globes 2021

A huge congratulations to all the nominees and winners at the Golden Globes 2021! Yet another year of incredible filmmaking, this time overcoming the challenges of COVID-19.

Our client, The Father, had an incredible 4 nominations including:

• Best Drama Motion Picture
• Best Screenplay 
• Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture – Olivia Colman
• Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Sir Anthony Hopkins

How they used Image Approvals

The Father utilised our In-House option and had just over 3,000 images across 8 days of photography with 6 actors having approvals rights.

The film’s unit photographer was provided with their own user account so they could directly upload images to our online approvals system so that the unit publicist could begin tagging the cast.

We provided the production with Welcome Packs for the talent so they had all the information they needed to login and complete the process easily and without requiring any support time from the production.

Improvements to the Image Approvals system.

Since The Father, the Image Approvals team have been busy making improvements to the platform and your production can now take advantage of an easier actor tagging system as well as added features such as:

• Allowing stakeholder accounts to make selects
• Live reports on the number of images each actor features in and how much of their kill allowance is remaining
• Automatic detection of tagging errors and the ability to instantly correct them all.
